 The
Tortilla Factory is Herndon’s oldest full-service restaurant,
founded over 30 years ago. It is the area’s best gathering place for
Mexican food. The Tortilla Factory tradition began in 1972 with the opening of a tortilla manufacturing plant in downtown Herndon. To compliment the fresh, stone-ground tortillas, the staff offered a variety of Southwestern fillings and side dishes for carryout only. The traditional Sonora-style cooking became such a hit that they decided to open the Tortilla 4 Factory Restaurant in 1975. Using fresh produce and meats from local vendors and spices from Arizona and New Mexico.
The menu specializes in Sonoran cuisine featuring Carne Asada, Fajitas, Carne Machaca, and Chimichangas. It also features a wide variety of Vegetarian, Low-Carb and non-spicy dishes, as well as a children’s menu. The Tortilla Factory uses only fresh chilis and spices from New Mexico and Arizona; further more, all tortilla chips, shells and drink mixes are made on the premises.

The Tortilla Factory Caterers have provided full-service catering throughout the Metropolitan area for over 30 years. They are able to cater parties of 30 to 1,000 including Office Parties, Company Picnics, Weddings and Private Parties in your home. They accomplish the task with quick, efficient and professional service. Services offered include boxed lunches, drop-off disposable buffets, and full-service catering.
